Robin worked at GRUUN for 4 years as a passionate job student while working on his studies in landscape and garden architecture. In September 2023, he had the opportunity to take over GRUUN.

Robin will lead GRUUN into a new era, focusing entirely on what the business does best: plants. In addition, he will focus even more on projects. GRUUN also wants to become a place where people can go for information even more than before.

Robin: "When the coffee bar was full, it was often too hectic to give customers buying plants comprehensive advice and was limited to the most basic information. After my studies and years of obsessively collecting plants, I did learn a bit more than the basic information found on every website. GRUUN will still be a site accessible to everyone, but we will assist those customers who want to do just a little more for their plants with more comprehensive advice. So we've noticed in recent months that there is great interest in this. Think about different types of growing mediums, which potting soil is best to mix for which plant species, some more background on the plant itself, etc."“
